Vltava River Cruise

Today, I would like to remember one of the best days of my life πŸ˜„

My now husband proposed to me on a river cruise while in Prague. It was a really great trip.

I recommend the company we used to purchase the tickets, as transport to the boat is also included in the pack, and I also recommend purchasing transport back to the hotel (when we disenbarked, it started raining, in 5 minutes it was pouring, and there were no taxis to be seen, we were fortunate to have bought the full pack so we enjoyed the drive back to the hotel.

I’m just going to leave you with a couple of photos.

    1. Hi Peter! Thanks for visiting! I only post my personal photos on my blog, and the light at dusk didn’t really help πŸ™‚
I really like to light up the photos, because I believe we need a little more colour in our lives! I do have some amazing photos of Prague, and I invite you to continue to follow my blog, because I will post more on Travel Thursdays πŸ˜„

  2. I’m so happy for you, and congratulations on the engagement (and marriage). I love when a place holds a special moment or memory like that. I’ve only been on one river cruise, and it was a river cruise safari thing in Borneo, Malaysia looking for monkeys, alligators, elephants, and birds. Quite different from this I’m sure, but almost as memorable!

  3. Beautiful photos! We visited Prague with our three kids last summer. We really didn’t have enough time there. I would have loved to have done a river cruise of the Vltava. It’s such a beautiful river.

    1. Thanks for the feedback! I also loved Prague. I would also recommend Portugal as a “kid-friendly” destination. The Oceanarium is amazing and the Plannetarium there has all sorts of activities for kids.

    1. It really was romantic and quite unexpected! Should you go again, I really recommend a river cruise, we had a buffet meal and also chose the pack which included transport back to the hotel, and it was lucky we did because as soon as the cruise ended, it started raining.

  4. Prague is one of those places that I’d love to go back and visit again. When my husband and I visited here we haven’t have the time to do the river cruise activity but I would love to do it when we come here again. Indeed it looks romantic!

  5. What a stunning place for a proposal. I loved Prague and it’s friendly on your pocket as well. I spent 3 days there, but missed the river cruise. πŸ™
